I got a 24 inch disc sander and 8 inch grinder off of eBay.  i got them for a fair price but not a steal.  They were in Seattle, I spent the day driving up and back to retrieve them.  The grinder runs like a dram super smooth and quiet I plan to use it as a buffer.  The sander is three phase, I am now seriously working on getting the right phase converter for the shop.
