it was move in day. i rented a skid steer with forks on it and got all the big tools into the shop.

the sand box has a bottom and an oil finish. it just needs sand!

the sand box is in place, now to attach the bottom and some how flip it over.

 i have been making a sand box from the sequoia we cut 2 months ago. i had to get the planer up and running, the wood is planing up great.

 i need to get the dust collection set up.

my friend Brian and i have been milling up a sequoia that was cut down in Brian’s neighbors back yard. we had a really good day on Saturday, i think we finally have chainsaw milling figured out.  the largest slabs so far are over 30 inches wide.  i was over taxing the truck with one 8 foot section of this tree.

the plywood is up on all the walls and the seam between the wall and the ceiling is in on the west and north walls.
