chicken coop
We put the chicken coop together in the back yard. It still needs a roof. Thunder storms started rolling thought this afternoon so I had to put a tarp over the whole thing and put in on hold till tomorrow.

The chicken coop is coming along. I am putting it together in the shop then I will disassemble it and rebuild it in the back yard.
I have all four sides of the chicken coop started. This photo is of the end wall with a chicken window.
I have two sides of the chicken coop mostly complete. I have to build it in parts as I can’t get the full project out of the shop through the one small door.
We got chicken chicks. I have been sidetracked from my walnut and rapidly designing and starting to build a chicken coop.
I have been drilling holes in a piece of steel angle to make the rails for a used fence I got for the pm72 table saw. So far so good.
This morning I picked up some wood from Urban Hardwood Recovery; $300 in walnut. All recovered locally. The last wood I got from Tyler had no discernible stress in it and was very easy to work with. He dries his wood slower than the big commercial kilns, leaving the wood stress free. The photo is of one of the pieces, it is over 15 inches wide and 2.25 inches think.
