I have been doing little projects recently. Here is a walnut bowl I turned. The ruff bowls I turned over the past year are ready for final turning. And I am getting confident enough to do it. This one is the first perfect (no cracks and decent sanding work) big bowl I have finished. It is about 16 inches in diameter.

I have made big progress on the jointer. I have ordered a new custom cutter head from byrd tool, it should take 4 to 6 weeks to get here. I have also talked to mcguire bearing where I have an order in for new bearings that will fit the old housing I have. In 4 to 6 weeks I should have a working 12 inch cutter head, the next project is to fix the in feed table
In other shop news I wired up a switch for the lathe so I don’t have to use the circuit breaker to turn the inverter on and off.
