armoire
The sides to the armoire are glued up. This is the first time I have made panels; they seem to be coming along great. the door parts are cut, but i have not glued them together.

The next project is an armoire for our entry way. It will have a glass front and a single drawer at the bottom.
I have added a table top and a fence to the new radial arm saw. The table is an old solid core door and the fence is a piece of aluminum angel. I really like this new saw, it’s much better than my old crapsmen.

I have added a door to the shop. I picked it up at the rebuilding center. I like it because it looks like a lab door and it has a window in it.
I have finished the air cart. It works great; the fan stirs up more dust in the shop than the filters collects. I have attached the grinder to the top. You can role your mouse around on the image below and get a full view of the cart.

I have been looking for this vintage DeWalt radial arm saw for some time, I like the look, and they are made with lots of iron. I found a 12†DeWalt GP radial arm saw on Craig’s list for $260. The motor has just been rewound and new bearings have been instilled. I don’t know any more of the history. The motor runs and slides along the arm smoothly. It appears to have its original stand and most of its original parts. I need to rebuild the table top, and would like to get a new blade for the saw. It would be nice to completely restore it, but at this point I just want to use it.
The crib is in place. I built it so the back and bed frame come apart and the rails come off. I assembled it in place. I think it is a little too deep as it is hard to get Calvin out of it; at least this will make it hard for him to escape.Â
